                                        Volunteer Opportunities

As you may know if you have participated in the Ramble, this may be one of the most ambitious grassroots-driven events in the country.  Every aspect of the Ramble is organized by a dedicated group of volunteers who bring a wide range of skills to the table.

If you "get" what we attempt to accomplish with this race each year, perhaps you would consider being a part of it.

You can be as deeply involved as you want to be, or just help for several hours with running registrations, set-up, security, food, course marshals and any number of other tasks. The crucial week before the race, with registrations on Friday and Saturday and with event set-up simultaneously occurring at the Endicott Estate is particularly busy.

We can promise you that you will be rewarded with a positive and unique experience and we will treasure your support.

                 Joycen Performer Casting Call

We are seek performers to read the works of the race's namesake along the race course. Each mile is named for a literary work by Joyce. Time commitment is about two hours. You will be asked to dress in some classic turn of the century garb. We provide a Joycean book for you to keep. Oh yes - you do get a shirt as well as food and beverage.
